I purchased this for exercising a shoulder. After only a few uses the handles fell off. The metal ball slipped in the tube just works itself out. I tired of trying to get the ball back in the tube (which didn't hold anyway) so I tied chunky knots in the tube. The knots still worked their way out. No way to keep these handles on. I'm now looking for another brand. I gave it a two star instead of 1 since I did use them for a while this way.
